We usually do not provide a free sample but the sample cost will be returned when you place formal order. You can pay via Paypal for a sample order and we send it to you by DHL.

Technical Issues

RFID, also known as Radio Frequency Identification, is a communication technology that can identify specific targets. It can read and write data through radio signals without establishing mechanical or optical contact between the identification system and targets.

The RFID system consists of hardware and software. An RFID system hardware consists of an RFID reader and an RFID tag.

1. Logistics: cargo tracking, automatic information collection

2. Asset management: precious or dangerous goods, a large quantity or high similarity goods

3. Library and document management

4. Identity recognition: RFID portal, electronic ID cards

5. Animal and pets tracking & management system

6. Traffic system: high-speed non-stop, taxi management, bus hub, railway locomotive identification.

7. Anti-counterfeiting of valuable commodities.

8. Manufacturing: real-time monitoring of production data, quality tracking, and automated production.

9. Retail industry: real-time statistics on the sales data of commodities, replenishment, and anti-theft.

Classified by frequency:

1. Low frequency (LF), 100-500KHz

2. High frequency (HF), 10-15MHz

3. Ultra-high frequency (UHF), more than 100MHz

Classified by energy:

Active, tags are powered by a built-in battery and continuously broadcast their own signal

Passive, tags without an internal power source are powered by the electromagnetic energy transmitted from an RFID reader

At first, you should select the appropriate RFID system according to your application. Then we give suggestions from 4 perspectives:

1. Stability and Reliability

In long-distance communication, the advantages of the active tags over the passive tags are: stronger ability to penetrate obstacles, longer transmission distance, faster transmission speed, and more stability and reliability.

2. Recognition speed:

The active tag sends data faster, especially when the data content is large. So it is more suitable for the rapid identification of multiple tags.

The UHF tags are faster than the HF tags and the LF tags, but obstacles easily block them.

3. Price

The active tags are much more expensive than the passive tags due to the built-in battery and active radio frequency transmission system.
